I bought this two weeks ago and it worked for 2 or 3 times and it already broke. The mop won't spray no matter what we've tried.

I used it one time. Went to use the second time, so I went to the store bought more pads, cleaning liquid. Put new batteries in, cleaned the spray holes like You Tube tells you & still nothing is working. I had two back surgeries s This year & thought it would be easier for me to use.

Thanks for sharing your experience with our Swiffer WetJet. We do everything we can to ensure our products help you clean with ease, so this is not something we'd expect to see. We appreciate you trying some troubleshooting steps already; holding down the button on the handle of the device in order to prime it also may help the WetJet to start spraying again.
We appreciate you reaching out, and would like to help you further as we gather some info for our Quality Team. Please give us a call at 1-800-742-9220 for additional assistance.

“Just click and clean” did not work for me

I bought the power mop and the solutions for multi surface and the one for wood, none of them clicks attaching properly to the mop attachments, I made wholes in my thumbs trying to force it down until it bleeding. I got so frustrated because it was the only product I had for my wood floors. So disappointing to expect a product to properly work and get quite the opposite. Just click and clean did not work for me because it never clicked.

We're sorry to hear that you had this experience, as our PowerMop goes through strict quality checks to ensure that you can use it with ease. As well, we can assure you that our PowerMop has been thoroughly evaluated to be safe when used as directed. If you're having trouble inserting the solution bottle, we suggest making sure that the piece of cardboard in the solution bottle holder has been removed. Also, if the cap of the bottle is bulging at all, unscrew/rotate the cap counterclockwise by 180 degrees or half a rotation and then tilt the bottle on its side for 2-3 seconds to check for any leakage. If there's no leakage, insert the bottle into the device. If there is leakage, move the bottle upright, screw back on 180 degrees or rotate clockwise to reclose. Retry the insertion into the device. We hope this is helpful. We'd also like to learn more and gather some additional details for our Safety and Quality Teams, so please give us a call at (800) 742-9220 when you have a chance.

The fluid used to clean the floor, no matter how clean or how dirty, ALWAYS leaves a sticky floor behind.

We'd never want to leave you with a sticky floor, so we're very sorry to hear that you've had this experience. Our PowerMop and PowerMop solutions have been thoroughly tested to ensure they'll help you get sparkling-clean floors, and we haven't made any recent updates to our formulas, so we've got a few tips to help. Streaking and cloudiness can happen for a few reasons, such as your floor being brand new and having a special coating on it to protect it during shipping, if other cleaning products have been used on the floor recently, or if the PowerMop solution isn't suitable for the type of floor that you have (unfinished, oiled, or waxed wooden floors, non-sealed tiles, or carpets). We recommend that you sweep or vacuum the floor before using your PowerMop and that you leave the solution on the floor for 10-15 seconds for mopping for best results. Our team would like to learn more about your experience so that we can see what might be going on and so that we can try to help you further. Please give us a call at (800) 742-9220, we look forward to hearing from you!

Needs better engineering of mop pads.

Needs further development. Mop design and use of premix mopping liquid are good but the problem is with the throw-away mop pads. To become an economical and renewable resource product, the mop pads need to be capable of being reused multiple times. Strongly suggest you come up with some sort of reusable microfiber pad that can be washed and reused by the consumer over many mop cycles.

Horrible product! Don't waste your money.

No better than the regular Swiffer mop. Actually harder to use because it's heavier and mop head is wadded and clumped up so only 3 or 4 wads of it touch the floor. I can't get a refund because I didn't use it within 30 days of purchase.

Loved It Until It Let Me Down
on September 7, 2024

I was initially thrilled with my purchase of the Swiffer PowerMop. For the first two weeks, it worked like a charm, handling tough messes with ease and making my cleaning routine much faster and more effective. Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived. Just as I had fully stocked up on refills, the mop suddenly quit spraying and wouldn't start again.
While I have always held Swiffer in high regard for their innovative and effective cleaning solutions, the PowerMop fell short of my expectations. The sudden malfunction left me quite frustrated, especially since I had invested in additional refills based on my initial positive experience.
Given this setback, I've decided to revert to using my trusty Swiffer WetJet, which has been going strong for over two years without a hitch. It's disappointing because I genuinely appreciated the PowerMop when it was operational, and I had hoped for similar reliability.
For potential buyers, while the PowerMop may offer an enticing promise of easy and efficient cleaning, be wary of its longevity. I hope Swiffer can address these issues in future iterations, as the brand usually delivers quality and reliability. As for me, I’m sticking with the WetJet for now.

We’re sorry your PowerMop stopped working, Asaltedpepper. Our products go through many quality checks, and are designed to be durable. Our Swiffer Team would like to share some troubleshooting tips that may help. If you cannot hear the motor running when pressing the dispenser button, you may need to replace the batteries. Be sure to use fresh AA alkaline batteries that are brand new, all come from the same package, and are inserted correctly. Also, you should hear a click when closing the battery compartment. If the motor runs, but the mop isn't spraying, double-check to make sure all the pieces of the product have snapped together properly during assembly. Next, check that the solution bottle is inserted properly into place. It's also possible that the nozzles have become clogged. Brush the nozzles gently with your fingertip to remove any buildup. If these tips don't get your PowerMop back into action, our Swiffer Team would like to gather details to further assist you. Please give us a call at 1-800-742-9220 from 9AM -- 6PM EST Monday -- Friday.
