I don't know why i keep buying this things, total junk! I've purchased 2 wet jets and now this power mop, motor has seized up after a month. I noticed that when it's in storage the swiffer brand bottles just leak inside the mop, I assume that's why this is happening but I'm so tired of it.

We’re sorry your PowerMop has stopped working, Blsacvegas. Our products go through many quality checks, and we try our very best to ensure that each one arrives to you in perfect condition. Our products are designed to be durable, and this isn’t the experience we’d expect or want you to have. If you cannot hear the motor running when pressing the dispenser button, you may need to replace the batteries with fresh AA alkaline batteries. Make sure the batteries are brand new, all come from the same package, and are inserted correctly. You should hear a click when closing the battery compartment. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we'd like to gather some further information for our Swiffer Team to further help. Please give us a call at 1-800-742-9220 from 9AM -- 6PM EST Monday -- Friday.

Poorly made. Replaced cleaner liquid and new bottle would not click in. Waste of money. Pads don’t have enough scrubbing points. A real disappointment.

We're sorry to hear that you're feeling disappointed, as our PowerMop has gone through strict quality checks to ensure that it reaches you in the best possible condition. As well, we do put a lot of thought into the design of our products. If the silicone cap on the solution bottle seems to be bulging, we recommend doing the following: -Attempt to unscrew/rotate the cap counterclockwise by 180 degrees or half a rotation. -After this step, tilt the bottle on its side for 2-3 seconds to check for liquid leakage. -If no leakage, insert the bottle into the device. -If there is leakage, move the bottle upright, screw back on 180 degrees or rotate clockwise to reclose. Retry the insertion into the device. We hope this is helpful. If you'd like further assistance, please give us a call at (800) 742-9220 when you can.

This mop should be discontinued!

This mop stopped working after four uses. Batteries have been replaced twice and it is dead as a door nail. It is especially annoying since I purchased the extra pads and cleaning liquid for the power mop. The least the company can do is send some coupons for my old Swiffer Wet Mop (always reliable) products so I can use that again.

No thanks, not again!

My second power mop has just broke. Same thing happened twice. The button just stopped functioning. Works great for about a month then dies out of nowhere. We continually second guess our batteries and test them in other products and they work fine. Is this normal? Are we the family that happens to get the duds? Super disappointing especially since we have a bunch of liquid refills and are down a mop AGAIN. :(
Luckily your dusters have no faulty electronics! They’re great!

We understand how frustrating it can be when your Swiffer PowerMop stopped working. Our products are designed with the utmost care and undergo rigorous quality checks to ensure they reach you in perfect working condition. We're here to help you troubleshoot the issue. Here are a few suggestions we'd like you to try:
* Double-check to make sure all the pieces of the pole have snapped together properly during assembly * If your Swiffer PowerMop is brand new, it may need priming. Hold the button on the handle for several seconds until spray comes out of the nozzles. * Check the solution bottle to make sure it's clicked into place and is not empty. If it's empty, replace it. Ensure the arrow printed on the bottle label is against the pole or that the narrow side of the bottle is against the pole. * Make sure the batteries are all inserted in the right direction. * Please make sure the battery door is closed all the way until it clicks. * The nozzles could be clogged. Brushing them gently may help them to start spraying.
So we can help you get back to Swiffering away, please call us at (800) 742-9220 Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.

The power swiffer powermop was easy to use and assemble, after trying other mops this cleans my wood floors and I have no complaints. I was little alarmed at all the negative reviews, if directions are followed some of the problems wouldn"t occur.

Handle comes off during use.
on July 1, 2024
Posted by: Blake1234
The spring loaded lock that attaches the top most section of the handle keeps coming off during normal use. The handle also could be a tad longer. I like how the pad gets deep into all the crevices, and how tough dried on messes are no challenge to scrub out. I also like the fresh sent of the solution. I just cant get around how the handle keeps coming off. Maybe I got a faulty product? With that being said, I will probably take this product back for a refund.

Thank you, Blake, for sharing the experience you had with your Swiffer PowerMop Multi-Surface Kit. Our Quality Team makes sure every Mop meets our high standards, so what you're sharing isn't what we expect. Your handle should not come off, nor can it be repaired. This can happen if the handle had excessive downward pressure put on it, especially in the same area repeatedly. This strains the handle and potentially leads to breakage. Instead, use gentle and even pressure while mopping, allowing the cleaning pad and cleaning solution to do the work for you. We'd be happy to help you further with this, and hope you'll reach out to us any Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST. Our number is 1 (800) 214-8734.
