Amazing mechanical pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils! I don't usually use mechanical pencils because the lead is flimsy and breaks so easily. I usually just get frustrated and give it to one of my children. Not this time! I tried one and LOVE it! I love the sturdiness of the lead. I pushed down HARD on it and it never broke. The grip is super soft and very comfortable to use. It also erases so well, you can't even see any remnants of what used to be there. I love them so much that out of the ten pencils I got for free, I only let each of my four children have one pencil each. I definitely didn't want to share, but my husband took mine because he says it's the best pencil he's ever used. I will absolutely be buying more of these and I will be recommending them to friends!!

My kids fight over whom gets which color. They look like pens yet are truly pencils. My youngest uses them to practice her handwriting and spelling while my oldest uses them for drawing and shading in her art class. My youngest no longer fights with me when I make her sit down and practice her spelling words, rather she is happy to do it because she gets to use a big girl pen." They are simply wonderful. The only issue is they need a bigger eraser as it takes a lot of effort to get all of the pencil markings to disappear."

Fun colors for fabulous writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love these BIC velocity mechanical pencils! The fight over the fun colors, all boys so luckily they leave the pretty pink one for me! I started buying them mechanical pencils a few years ago, just because of the ease of use (no sharpening) and that they write better with them. I know there teachers appreciate that as much as I do. These pencils have very nice lead, that erases cleanly and are easy to reload. Perfect for the upcoming school year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a HUGE mechanical pencil fan, and BIC is always my favorite! These BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are no exception! As a person who works in accounting, I'm ALWAYS looking for a good pencil! I also love puzzle books, and will only do them in pencil so I can erase! These pencils write great, but I hate the cap! Every time I'd turn my pencil over to erase, there was that darn cap on it! Easy fix?? THROW THE CAP AWAY! They fit well in my hand and have a built in pencil grip, but they feel slightly larger than a normal pencil and definitely larger than any other BIC pencils I've used. I'm not sure why, since there is no more lead in them than other BICs. As an accounting person, I love that these pencils come with additional lead. There seems to be 3 pieces of lead in the pencils already, and you get a pack with 12 additional sticks of lead. As a a parent... I hate that these pencils come with additional lead... It's just more for my kids to play with! :) I'll have to look into the price of these pencils to see if they're worth me switching from the basic BICs to these new BIC Velocity, but if the price is similar, I'd definitely consider switching! She can't stop raving about them to her friends at school. They write super smooth and the pop of colors are way cool for her. She even pointed out how the soft grip doesn't make her fingers hurt. Every time she does homework all she needs is her trusted Bic Velocity Pencils.
