[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and her friends are about to start school so I invited them all over to try out the new Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils.....were they COOL enough???? the answer was a resounding YES! All the girls loved them...pluses were that the lead actually stayed IN the pencil rather then slipping out, plus the container help extra lead and erasers that was an added bonus! They all loved these pens and will use them in school and request them to be bought from their parents!

Saying oh mama there are the good kind. So I gave one pack to my daughter and one to my son. They immediately put them in their bookbag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Bic Velocity is worth the money. The lead is stronger than other brands. The kids always complain about how the lead always breaks and they are out of lead quickly. And it also comes with refill lead which is super cool. The eraser works well at getting it off the paper but the eraser is the one that goes quickly not the lead. At least it comes with extra erasers too. My kids love mechanical pencils since it is the trendy thing at school (which I will never understand). It comes in cool trendy colors and is comfortable to write with. I definitely give it a thumbs up.

As someone with arthritis and spinal stenosis, gripping things is hard, but with these pencils, it is so easy. Never has ejecting lead, replacing lead, and replacing erasers been so easy. Love love love. Absolutely the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could say my girls were always organized with their school supplies, but, alas, the saga of the pencil was a never ending reel. I am a BzzAgent. reviewing Bic's Velocity mechanical pencil, which I received in exchange for a fair review. The Velocity is a fun writing instrument that comes in 5 colors. The pencil leads are #2, so it will meet all our testing needs. In case someone forgets to study, however, it comes with extra erasers. These pencils make class preparation easier because no one has to search for a sharpened pencil out off 50 chewed, wooden stubs. My girls picked out which colors they wanted. Each pencil comes with a comfy gripper already on it, so they should be able to write for hours. I will definitely buy these pencils again.

The only thing I'd change would be when the lead gets further down to not keep pushing back up into the pencil shaft. Otherwise it's a pencil which I've purchased 3 more packs since the BzzAgent Campaign started. My kids love them and so do I.

I love the bold colors of the pencils too. The best part is how clean these erase. There's literally no shade of the old markings once erased. Love them!
