Good but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Bic velocity pencils are pretty good. Great colors, grips and eraser... but at the end of the day it's just another mechanical pencil. Excessive clicking and broken lead. Kids like then but with all the snapping tips the non stop clicking about drove me crazy. Lead just needs to be a little thicker to withstand the pressure.

I thought that they were super easy to use and really easy to get the lead to come out. I love how smooth the writing was and also they pencils felt really good in my hand. They were really nice to hold and could write for a long period comfortable. I also thought that they colors were really fun to look at. My son has used them for the first week of school and he thinks that they are easy to use and fun. He said he likes them better than other pencils he has used! Also there has been no issues with the lead breaking which is amazing!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nicely designed mechanical pencils. They write smoothly, nice dark color without pursuing too hard and they erase cleanly. Love the little plastic erase cover to keep the eraser from setting out and getting hard. That they come in nice, bright colors (especially pink) is a nice bonus!

Finally Mechanical Pencils That Don't Break

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I have finally found the perfect Mechanical Pencils. BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils are perfect for doing any school work or business. In the past as I write the lead has broken, with BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils that is not the case. The lead is strong, There?s a soft grip for comfortable writing and a rectractable tip and they?re perfect for standarized tests. The erasers really work well too. Any student would love this. Before I got these, I was not a big fan of Mechanical pencils due to the lead breaking, now I have changed my mind. These are comfortable to use, very high quality and priced right. I plan on sharing my coupons with my children friends so all the students have high quality mechanical pencils to use.
