[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencil arrived at the perfect time. Just in time for school. My kids love them! My son was hesitant to try them, but came home after the 2nd day of school and wanted to know if he could take more to school. We all like how smooth they write and I also noticed that the tip doesn't break easily. We have been giving out coupons to all our friends. We will definitely be purchasing these mechanical pencils in the future.

However, I have never heard of the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils before, I was curious to see how different they were from the rest of the mechanical pencils out on the market. These new BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are an excellent choice for back to school. Their design, quality and craftsmanship are exceptional. They feel really nice in your hand, not like most mechanical pencils which are too skinny to grip. They are comfortable to use and they write really nice. The lead is perfect, not too light or dark, and it does not smear. These pencils will be a great addition for my children's back to school supplies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils are great for everyday use. The lead writes smoothly?no little lead flakes left behind on your work?and produces a dark, thick stroke to your letters. The barrel of the pencil is more like that of a pen, so I think they are more comfortable to write with than the cheaper version of BIC?s mechanical pencils. The other thing that I like is that the pencils come with an extra supply of lead AND ERASERS! Those little erasers on mechanical pencils are always the first to go, so having an extra stash of them is a great solution to that problem. However, I have to say that the clear protective eraser topper doesn?t stay on very well and is kind of annoying to have to take on and off when you need to erase. That could be improved upon. Got this product free to test out from BIC. Opinions are 100% my own.

It is always a hard decision when school shopping trying to figure out what pencils to get when the isles are packed with other parents trying to find the perfect pencil also. Thankfully, i didnt have to do that this year since #BICVelocity sent us free pencils to try out! #GotItFree The packaging was easy to open and my kids instantly loved the bright, inviting colors. They have been using them now for a few weeks and only one issue. The pink pencil in one pack gave my 10 year old daughter some trouble when trying to get the lead down. Kind of like it hangs up on something inside when trying to click it down. It is still usable, but we leave it at home now so she does not have anymore trouble at school. They like how they erase and write, and I do too! My 5 year old doesn't have trouble holding this pencil unlike some others we have tried. He would prefer a green pencil though! All in all, these pencils are great and i will definitely be buying more.

They are colorful which helps brighten my mood. They are strong so I can use them longer without getting frustrated from breakage. To top it all off they write so smoothly that I glide through my writing like it is nothing. I will be recommending and buying these again. Top of the line, great product. So happy to try them free.

It is a great day in the classroom when students enjoy doing their work because they have new, colorful mechanical pencils. No more lead breaking every few letters. BIC uses strong lead that writes easy. The package even includes an extra pack of lead and erasers. yes, I said erasers. I love that BIC has added extra erasers.
