[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't usually use mechanical pencils because I don't like the way they write but after trying these BIC Velocity pencils my attitude towards them has really changed. They are so comfortable to write with and it writes nice and dark. My kids really love them too. They love all the different colors they come in and how easy it is to write and erase with them. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a good mechanical pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you BIC VELOCITY MECHANICAL PENCILS for sending my free pencils in the mail. Me and my daughter both were so excited to use them. The colors of the pencils are so bright. It's nice to see colorful mechanical pencils. The barrels are so helpful for gripping while using them. My daughter loved that it comes with lead refills. She said now she can complete her homework and tests without all the time sharpening regular pencils. By the time you get your sharpener out sharpen the pencil then empty it, you can put the lead into the barrel DONE! So much time used wisely now. My daughter has these awesome pencils in her book bag for school. If a mechanical pencil looks great performance is great and you enjoy using it then you don't need any other one.... Just these. Thanks again BIC for sending me these awesome mechanical pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils. I tend to bear down when writing and break lead easily. These pencils are strong and durable which will be helpful when my six and ten year old kids are doing their homework and drawing. The lead is smooth with no breaks in the lines. The colors are great without being obnoxious. The grip is comfortable and just the right amount of squishy. The eraser has a little cap on it which is a nice touch and the BIC Velocity set comes with extra lead and erasers. I am very pleased with the overall feel of these pencils. They feel like quality, not cheap plastic.

Some other mechanical pencils that we have used this year were very flimsy feeling. The BIC Velocity pencils are made with quality materials and almost feels like you are holding a pen instead. Love the extra lead and erasers that came with them too. The soft rubber grip around the pencils is a great addition too.
