So, a good quality mechanical pencil is very important to me, especially in my Mission. I was a LDS missionary. I have to write down the information of everyone I first meet, so that I can contact them again. A good mechanical pencil can help me a lot. I love this mechanical pencil. I use this brand of mechanical pencil for almost one year. It has a very good quality. First, I like the design of Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencil. Even though it doesn?t has a trendy design. But I think it has a practical design. Bic American Mechanical Pencil is slim and regular length. It fit every bag and pencil case. I used a little planner in my Mission. It has a little spiral blinding. I try many different brand of mechanical pencil to fit in that spiral blinding, they all aren?t fit. Just Bic Velocity Mechanical pencil can fit in the little spiral blinding. And it is long then the little spiral blinding, so that I can easily pull out. Second, when I use Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencil to write, I feel it is steady. When I use another mechanical pencil, I feel like the lead is shaking, that makes me feel the lead will break. I like using them for shopping lists, word searches and even for drawing. I am usually not a fan of pencils because but BIC has made me a regular user. One package will last for a long time because it comes with 5 pencils, 5 eraser replacements and 12 lead refills.

My daughter said they are the only brand she wants from now on. She likes the erasers, and she said the lead is great too. They are comfortable to use for extended periods of writing also.

I really like how the pencils come with refillable erasers and leads. The bright colors are a nice touch too. The grippy takes a little getting used to but is comfortable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best mechanical pencils I have had. The lead is really smooth and sturdy and does not break while I write. I have had mechanical pencils in the past and they break when I write because I press a little too hard. It is also comfortable to hold. My daughter also likes the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils because she too presses a little too hard when she writes sometimes and the lead would always break. The eraser is the best because it doe not smudge like other erases and leaves the paper clean. My daughter erases a lot and many times would leave her paper looking dirty with lead smudges but not with this eraser. I would recommend this product.
