[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to write with unless something is wrong with it the lead does not go out far so it will not break as easy since I write kinda heavy. My son really likes them I always add mechanical pencils to his school supply list. He was happy to see these since they came from school started. He likes the way they look. I will get his opinion how he liked them in school that will be in the next review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few mechanical pencil fans in my house so I passed out one pack of them to my boys- aged 13 and 18 and waited for the reviews. My 18 year old uses them mainly for schoolwork- writing and such. He has been using mechanical pencils for as long as I can remember so I was anticipating his response. He really liked it, said the lead in it was very smooth and nice to write with. He especially liked that the pencils came with extra lead and most especially extra erasers!! My 13 year old is special needs, he is on the autism spectrum. He draws (and draws really well). He had a generic brand mechanical pencil that he was using. The pencil ran out of lead and I replaced it with a Velocity pencil. He wasn't too thrilled because it was different

She. hasn't had any issues with the pencil breaking off or with erasing.. She also requested that I purchase more to keep her stocked up.. I think my daughter handwriting looks better with these than any other pencil. She really like it!! love this BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil they look like pen but they are pencil. I love that they are number 2 pencils,. also the lead is dark, which is what I prefer. they are comfortable... #BICVelocity #GotItFree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity mechanical pencils write really well and smooth on paper. The only thing I've ever disliked about mechanical pencils including these is the lack of being able to erase once the little eraser is down too far. I wasn't too pleased with how well the eraser worked at erasing either, but the overall function of the product and the quality of the lead is pretty good. The kids enjoy using them and I now have one in my car, in my purse and at home so I can have a pencil everywhere.
