[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the new BIC Velocity mechanical pencils. They write so smooth and erase great. We use them more often than our regular pencils as they don't need to be sharpened and we have extra refills. The colors are fun too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are great! They come in a cool colors and have a nice rubber grip on them. The pencil lead is nice and strong. You can press harder without the lead breaking unlike some other brands of mechanical pencils I've used. The lead doesn't make that annoying screeching sound when you write and the eraser seems to hold up well.

I home educate my two boys and these were not a big hit with them. They like to sharpen their pencils and with these there is no need to. I however, do not like the sound of the sharpening and the bothersome of getting up from my workstation to sharpen. So these are perfect for me. Most of the time with campaigns its for the kiddos.
