My daughter love the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think they write smooth, no smudges when you erase. I and my children love the colorful barrels and super smooth lead which makes writing for them more fun. The strong lead erases so clean. I am so thrilled knowing that my kids are excited about writing. Glad they got a chance to try something free that they are actually using and like. I have tried them myself and I must say they are better then other mechanical pencils I have used before.

Great pencils

The only pencil i use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils to try out. The grip in these mechanical pencils is amazing. My daughter requires a gripper with all #2 pencils but with Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils she doesn't need a gripper. She never has to leave her desk and interrupt class to sharpen her pencils. They come in great contrast colors so they are easy to find in a pencil box. The Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are affordable and I can purchase the lead refills easily and most stores carry them so they are a favorite on my school supply list.

These are great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these free to try out. They came in just before school started. My 6th grader would rather have mechanical pencils rather than the standard #2 that you have to sharpen, so I gave him the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils since school was starting. He loves them. I gave him 2 of these mechanical pencils and 2 generic mechanical pencils, and he says that these are more comfortable than the others when he writes.

Not revolutionary, but effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils were overall a good experience to use. I loved that they were mechanical, because I never use wooden pencils anymore (they're inconvenient and bad for the environment). To me, the pencils were relatively comfortable to hold; the grip was soft without being obnoxious. The eraser is pretty standard, and didn't run out as quickly as I expected. Personally I'm not a fan of the plastic cover over the eraser but it can easily be taken off so it wasn't an issue for me. I would probably buy these pencils again just because they work well, although there wasn't anything too novel or revolutionary about them in my opinion.

Best Pencil ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils. I always had the problem of broken lead with other pencils. That is not a problem with these rugged pencils. The thicker lead and metal lead guide make it very hard to break the leads. I use these pencils in the field under extreme conditions and they have never failed me. My only knock against them is that I wish that they made a model with a metal barrel as the plastic barrels break easily if they are stepped on or sat upon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not usually a fan of mechanical pencils but my daughter is. She rather have them then regular pencils. She uses them mostly for homework and at school. She loves to draw and will occasionally use them. I keep a few at my desk whenever I need them. They are pretty and easy to use. I love the soft grip on the mechanical pencil when holding and writing. The package of BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils gives you extra lead too and come in different colors.
