I have used many different types of mechanical pencils, and I have to say I really like the way these write. They are easy to hold, the grip is comfortable, and they feel a lot like an ink pen. The eraser works well. The lead" is easy to refill. I think I like writing with these better than most other pencils I've tried. I will look for these in the store when I go to stock up on school supplies this fall."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very bright and stylish compared to the boring yellow pencils. Easy to use and refill. They write smoothly and feel comfortable in your hand.The lead last such a long time as well as the erasers. If you use to much of the eraser though without changing it it will get stuck. I would use a different eraser instead of the pencil eraser.

I was given 2 packs of these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils as I use them daily at work and even sometimes over the weekend for a part-time job I have. My kids love mechanical pencils so they were also stoked to get their own pack to try out. She has never tried them. She likes the way they write the fact they come with extra lead (bc kids go thru a lot of lead & I'm constantly having to buy lead or new pencils) she saved a pack for school she's in the 7th grade and she made me buy her more. Definitely worth the money especially because they come with extra lead. Thanks again bzzagent!

She has never liked regular pencils and has always had a knack for mechanicals. These are the best! Strong lead, smooth writing, great erasers. Everything she values in a pencil.
