Whatever you are doing, BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils has your back, or maybe your hand. A single package comes with five very pencils, extra lead, and extra erasers! It's really the best bang for your buck out there. They are sturdy, and have a #2 dark lead. No baring down to write. These are what you need at home, at school, at church, and for play. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils. I am a mechanical pencil user and always have been but these pencils have help up better than the typical mechanical pencil. I do accounting work and I use pencils a lot because I have to make changes and this pencil is great. Also I like that the lead doesn't break as easy as other brands. My son liked to use them for his drawings too but I think that I actually like them more than he does. I will be buying these in the future.

We were excited to try the new BICVelocity mechanical pencils. I use them at work and they are great. Every now and then if I need to change something it erases beautifully.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I personally could not tell the difference when writing with the BIC Velocity versus my standard mechanical pencil, I decided to enlist my husband's opinion. He is not picky when it comes to writing utensils and will grab anything handy. I offered him a BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil to see what he thought as he is usually quite analytical. At first he said there was no difference between that and what he normally grabs, but then he said it felt like it glided along the page better. I was impressed he noticed this on his own without being prompted. So, the mechanical engineer approves of the new BOC Velocity Mechanical Pencils!

My 3 kids were excited when they saw the BIC Velocity pencils that i received as part of a promotion from BIC for giving a honest review. They come in bright fun colors! So I and the help of my 3 boys have been testing these pencils out! I have been using BIC for years and have used a lot of mechanical pencils in my day but these I have to say are my favorite! It's true, they write smoother and the lead is darker the lead also doesn't break as easy. But the fact they have a lot of lead and comes with an extra eraser for all 5 pencils in the package is awesome you don't find that I other packages it's nice especially when you have kids who can be pretty hard on them! But my favorite thing about these is the built in grip it makes writing so much more comfortable! They are so easy to hold onto! I and my kids have enjoyed using these. The kids have demand I get more and I'm ok with that cause I loved them as well.

He told me that he thought the erasers worked better than traditional erasers. He requested that I get more for back to school.
