I love that they are larger than other mechanical pencils and that they come with the added bonus of a soft grip and covered eraser top. The colors make them very fashionable--my kids cannot wait for school to start and show them off. Mechanical pencils are their pencil of choice for my children (middle and high schoolers), I feel confident in purchasing this product for them knowing they will hold up with all that school throws at them!! Before I saw the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils I was curious to know what would make these mechanical pencils different. My grandchildren love them. I went to the store and bought two more sets because was they were fighting over the colors, I am always picking them up and using them also because they write so smooth. Thank you to Bic and Bzzagent for letting me try these so I could tell family and friends about these pencils. Everyone knows aim a Bzzagent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used so many brands when drawing, that I can tell you which mechanical pencils have which issues. These are a great versatile pencil for kids and adults. Very comfortable to write with. The grip is super and I love the small eraser. Great for line drawing characters because not only can you get dark lines, but light ones as well. Nice shading too. Here's an anime girl I recently did for a friend. I did the original line work with BIC Velocity pencil. So, its not just a writing tool. It is very multipurpose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fabulous colors and love the way it writes. I received BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils from BIC and BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. As soon as my kids saw the pencils, they oohed and aahed over the cool colors. My son, who does some school work over the summer couldn't wait to start using them. His favorite color was blue. He liked how they wrote and said that the lead didn't break on him the way other mechanical pencils do. His one complaint was the eraser. He didn't feel it erased that well and every time he tried to erase it pushed down and lead popped out. Other than that, he liked the pencil and will continue to use them well into the school year.
