[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic velocity mechanical pencils are cool and they come in some awesome colors. They write smooth and dark so no need to push down on them and break the lead. They have a plastic cover over the eraser which I love because it helps my daughter not to chew on the eraser. It also comes with extra lead and erasers. They are a great edition to my daughters school supplies this year. They also write as dark as no #2 pencils so they are perfect for test taking.

I have had more than enough homework nights ruined because a pencil would not sharpen, we could not find a pencil that was not broken or the lead would not break as soon as you started writing. These pencils are not only great colors, but they are sturdy, the lead does not break and they last well! I love them. I will not be buying cheaper lead pencil ever again. These are amazing. I have been using them for my calendar, the eraser works great when I have to change plans. I am in love with these pencils!

I have a problem though - my kids won't stop STEALING them from me!!! What do I do!!?? I have had issues with other mechanical pencil erasers but the eraser on these pencils worked very well. If you are in the market for mechanical pencils and don't want to spend a fortune, these are the ones for you!
