We have been in school for over a month now, and none of them have asked me for more lead or new pencils. They last!! ...which is saying something for how often theyou get used. Love these pencils!

The kids love all the different colors and the fact that they have grippers on them also is a huge plus. My 6th grader would rather have mechanical pencils rather than the standard #2 that you have to sharpen, so I gave him the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils since school was starting. He loves them. I gave him 2 of these mechanical pencils and 2 generic mechanical pencils, and he says that these are more comfortable than the others when he writes.

He really likes the look of these & he likes the way they write. They write very smooth & they erase completely without the eraser crumbling. With these great pencils not only can you get your assignment done but, you can look cool and stylish while your doing it. I used this myself and love the easy grip and the bright and fun colors. Very easy to write with and to change the lead. Unlike other mechanical pencils that break if you apply a little pressure these dont and they hold up well and very easy to hold while you write. Easy to push the lead out as well. Another great and awesome product Bic .
