Great Mechanical Pencils for Kids & Adults

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would count as one of those pencil fanatics. I have been using the same mechanical pencils for more than 15 years. I haven't switched because I couldn't find another mechanical pencil that felt comfortable and wrote the same. I have finally found the replacement. The BiC Velocity Mechanical Pencils feel good and write smoothly. The colors add a lot more flair than my old black mechanical pencil. My 11 year old daughter tried the BiC Velocity Mechanical Pencils and immediately wanted to add them to her back to school supply list. She liked how they looked, felt and wrote. But what was most important to her was that they are strong and she won't have to worry about breaking lead while she's working at school. The pencil will always be sharp! When we shopped for additional BiC Velocity Mechanical Pencils, I was surprised to find that they were also priced similarly to other mechanical pencils. We were going to buy them anyway, but the fact that they aren't quite a bit more expensive than others should really seal the deal! Great product BiC!

We really like all the colors they come in and how well they write without the lead breaking. We only hope they last a long time since some other mechanical pencils don't seem to last long enough.

I think the oil look and bright colors really get the kids excited. The pencils write smooth and the lead doesn't break quite as easy as other mechanical pencils. The other plus is the eraser, doesn't smear as erasing. Would highly recommend?

These pencils are always ready to use. Never need sharing and don't get any shorter as they are used. That in itself is well worth the purchase. The lead doesn't break or wear quickly. But the lead easily easases as needed. Will buy and recommend.

Bic mechanical pencils are the go to pencils for back to school supplies and any other time we need a pencil. No more plain pencils like before. Convenient, sturdy erasers that last and don't break off. Interchangeable lead meant to last so if your pencil happens to break you always have a replacement which means no excuses for not getting work done. We Love Bic Mechanical pencils!! My daughter loved them so much we went out and bought a couple more packages to cover her throughout the school year. They are especially great for math as the erasers work well (unlike other mechanical pencil brands) and the leads don't easily break off while writing. The soft grip makes for less finger soreness (something my son has with regular pencils as he grips it too hard). A thumbs up is a hard thing to get from a 12 year old, but these do get thumbs up! The color variety is great as well. This is our new go to mechanical pencil.

They write well and eraser on it is great quality too! I like the value of what comes in a pack. Many pencils and extra led to insert in the pencil when it runs low.
