[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these new BIC Velocity pencils. The lead is so dark and makes it ten times easier to see then normal mechanical pencils! They glide on the paper so smooth. We will be using these from now on!

I'm not worried about them breaking in the bottom of a backpack or purse. They erase without leaving a mess. They write smoothly and the lead hasn't broken on me yet.

My daughter was so excited when she saw them and loves all the bright colors. This was the first year she could use mechanical pencils in school and she was so happy these were the ones she was going to use. My youngest would only used wooden pencils, but now that she's experienced Bic Velocity pencils she rarely uses wooden pencils. I like the way the pencils write smooth an erase clean. The caps on the erasers are a nice perk because they keep the erasers from becoming smudged. I appreciate the pack of pencils come with refillable lead and erasers.

My oldest loves to draw and usually uses regular pencils but has found she really likes these for drawing better as she can get finer details. We love all the bright colors and the girls are constantly getting asked where they got them!
