Kids love them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One a personal level, the lead was a little soft for me and it wrote rather light on the paper. However, I am an adult and wanted something more permanent. For a kid doing classwork, these would be great!!!! Easy to erase and overwrite correct answers. The bright colors are really fun and the pencils work very well.

They love how they feel in their hands, and said it seems to actually glide easily over the paper! They definitely have become fans of BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils!!

Yes I have two boys going to school. They saw my pencils and argued over the colors. Who likes mechanical pencils the best. Who's class don't have sharpeners. I heard it all. I liked the pencil I got to try. the lead could be a little stronger. I write fast and with heavy pressure. The lead broke easy. I could not get use to the little cap on the eraser. I kept forgetting to take it off. I really don't need that. my son says yes on the cap because he says he looses erasers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic's new Velocity mechanical pencils are the update to outdated mechanical pencils that have been around forever. Every year parents buy mechanical pencils for their kids to take to school. Many even buy the disposable kind (what a waste!) Some parents try to eliminate waste by buying mechanical pencils with lead refills. My own Mother used to buy these for me. But then what happens is that you not only run out of lead, but your eraser wears down and eventually renders your pencil useless. You're left with lead refills and useless pencils. A pencil is completely useless without an eraser. You may as well be using a pen. So Bic has a solution to this problem. Velocity mechanical pencils come with eraser refills!! Overall, the Bic Velocity mechanical pencil is pretty great with a sleek clear appearance, nice colors, thick lead and nice erasers. The only complaint I had was that the pencil itself was a tad thick for my liking. But I have arthritic hands so this may not bother others. I will definitely choose to buy these over competitor mechanical pencils in the same price category.

Fun colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colors were great! My kids thought they were very pretty And couldn't wait to use their favorite color. The only reason I got four stars was because of the eraser. When you go to erace something it pushes the lead out more. That was the only flaw I saw but that's a big flaw, and therefore my kids are constantly fighting with trying to keep the lead from coming out so much and breaking off. Pencils felt good in your hands and I love to do homework or doodling with them.
