comfort and ease when writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use of course the old school #2 pencils but have been trying to get my son, age 11, to convert slowly to mechanical pencils so the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils couldnt have came at a better time. These are really constructed well, durable, not cheap plastic feel. the cushion grips help to prevent callouses which is a plus especially for those of us that really grip the writing instrument and i like that there is a 5 color variety pack and you get extra lead and erasers. its really a good buy and worth it . the print that comes off the lead is very crisp, and clean. the white erasers really do clean up mistakes well . we are getting care packages together for the teachers and this is one of the items we are including this year. its a nice treat for them as they have a lot of out of pocket expenses . ?#?BICVelocity? ?#?GotItFree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mechanical pencils have always been blah to me, not comfortable or the leads snap every time you put them to paper...and drawing was just not done effectively. These are quite the opposite I like the feel and they stay comfy as you write, the leads are thin enough to be precise but sturdy enough to keep from snapping every stroke. The when drawing with them the lead smudges nicely for shading and were a dream to work with. I will be letting my 11 year old start school with these in his back packs, and have also shared the coupons with my mom friends to use as they back to school shop. Love love love these.

Especially my daughter who loves writing and doodling.She said the rubber grip keep her hand from cramping up. They also like that they write darker than most mechanical pencils currently on the market. The fact that they came with lead refills and extra erasers was and added bonus. My kids love em yours probably will too.

I also used some of the coupons for the purchase of these pencils to send to school for my kids. The writing seems to be more smooth. And it seems to last longer longer as well. My children also like the brighter colors. The eraser also last longer and seems to erase better as well. When they are expected to use a pen, the fight me over wanting to use these pencils. Overall, it is a winner in my house.

These will be great for the kids to use too, they're always breaking pencils and then they have to go sharpen them. With these they don't have to break focus to sharpen them, just click and keep going.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have noticed a change in my daughters handwritting, sense using Bic Velocity mechanical pencils. The writing is smooth and neat. She had no trouble refilling the lead on her own at school. And the eraser works wonders. If she makes a spelling mistake she simply erases it and u can't tell she had to re write the word. I love these pencils. And I have bought more for her in fact I have bought 4 more packs of them as well ad refills. He loves mechanical pencils and wants to use them over regular pencils as the big kids" use them. He also likes not having to sharp pencils and or worry if the tips break. Stay tuned.
