[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package of Bic Velocity Pencils comes with 5 brightly colored mechanical pencils, a tube of replacement lead and also a tube of replacement erasers. Myself and my son loved the way these pencils wrote and the feel of the pencil in your hand. The writing was so smooth and the pencils had a really good grip on them, which didn't make your hand hurt from using them. The lead was sturdy and measures in at 0.7mm, so it is thicker and doesn't snap off or break like other mechanical pencil lead that I have used in the past. Another bonus of the Bic Velocity pencil was how cleanly the marks erased with no smudging. This is a must for kids and adults alike who have to do correcting of their work. I would absolutely recommend these for anyone who writes with pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow soon as we got these my kids couldn't wait to tear them open . They have been drawing and writing up a storm. Normal pencil break on them and they always need them sharpened . Not with these babies . I don't have to worry about a thing they are perfect in every way possible. They write nice and dark and are so easy even for my youngest to grip in his hand. They love it and its getting them to love to write and draw which is a big plus in my book .

The barrel helps reduce the stress of writing on your hand. The eraser has a cap, which is a plus. The eraser works great & with an easy swipe, corrections can be made. They come with extra lead & the lead is strong & does not break off easy. Amazing! Great job BIC.

He says it writes really well and erases fairly well. He did say that the lead breaks easily, but I did tell him not to bare down as hard as he would a regular pencil. It's great that he doesn't have to worry about constantly sharpening his pencil.
