Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Call me crazy, but I love the fact that the eraser has a cap on it!! I constantly lotion my hands or the natural oils of my skin ruin the erasers, causing them to get that dark grey film, so then it smudges instead of erases. So the cap is AWESOME! When I initially used the pencil, I had to do a double take. I began to write with it and I stopped because I thought that something was wrong with the pencil. Well, it was just me. It was so smooth that it was just gliding across the paper. I love how bulky it is, the grip on it, the look, and the feel. I also like the extra supply case that comes along with it. That's pretty convenient & great for kids to take to school. I've always purchased BIC mechanical pencils, but this has truly taken it to another level.

My pencil of choice has always been whatever is cheapest but in the end, you always get what you pay for. When you reach for the cheap story brand pencil, you can expect for it to break or have really breakable lead. After trying out BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils, I will never buy anything else. These pencils are amazing. They are comfortable to hold and the lead is durable. They look and feel like an expensive pen. An added bonus is the extra lead and erasers. The eraser caps are also a plus! From now on I will never reach for another mechanical pencil. Thanks BIC!

They are great for kids to use for school because of the sturdiness and the ability to refill the lead and erasers! I will definitely buy more if I ever need to!

She has tried quite a few of the mechanical pencils over the past few years but not had much luck...I suspect she is pretty rough on her pencils and if the design and/or lead isn't sturdy enough, she breaks it easily and therefore won't be a fan of it....Over the past few years we have purchased different brands and styles for her and I always hear the same complaints; Mom
