[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sharing these pencils with my kids who started high school this year, since their too young to review, I reviewed them. They love the smoothness of the lead and how it doesn't leave residue or smudges. The eraser works real nice and shavings can be blown away with ease, and the click part to let the lead out is easy to do too. Much more comfortable than the cheap brands of the competitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to try out the new Bic Velocity mechanical pencils and it was perfect time for back to school. Pencils are the most important school supply, you can?t go to school without one, so I always want to make sure my kids are stocked for back to school. I have made the mistake of picking up some cheapo- no name pencils in the past, which I will no longer do, but in doing that I have criteria of what makes a pencil worthy of me and my kids. My criteria for a great pencil: Writes smooth Lead isn?t too thin, causing it to continually break comfortable to hold eraser works and doesn?t leave marks on the paper cool, fun colors and attractive design a plus! The Bic Velocity is a great pencil and I would, and currently am, sending this to school with my kids. The Bic Velocity has a nice gripper on the pencil making holding the pencil comfortable. The lead seems like it is a nice quality and can hold up to my kids pushing heavy on the pencil when writing. As you are writing, it goes on smooth, almost like a pen. With kids, and math, we tend to have to fix our answers, sometimes more than once. We have not had any issues using the eraser on the Bic Velocity. It erases what is intended and leaves the paper in tacted. Best of all, the pencils are super cute! My kids were all excited to take attractive colored mechanical pencils to school this year! We received a sample of Bic Velocity Pencils from Bic in return for an honest review. Great job Bic Velocity! good quality mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an all around good pencil. It is very comfortable to write with, especially with the built in pencil grip. These pencils write very smoothly, but not a huge fan of the small eraser and the quality of which it erases with. After erasing, you can still see some of the mistakes you made. The downside of mechanical pencils is that you need to use the side of the erasers or the lead is pushed out the other end. My son did like that there is a cap on the eraser-it helps to keep the eraser in its spot therefore keeping the extra lead from falling out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic Velocity mechanical pencils are fabulous! As a left handed person, I had a hard time using mechanical pencils. I press down a bit too hard when I write, so most pencils leads would snap. I would have to pay more attention to how much weight I was putting on the lead than to what I was writing! The lead was smooth and the eraser worked wonders. Sometimes mechanical pencil erasers will leave a shadow, but these worked very well, and I saw no shadow. I will be using the generous coupons to buy more!
