The smoother and darkest leads makes the Bic Velocity mechanical pencils a good value and the fact that they have a soft rubber grip makes tyen easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so fun to look at but at the same time are functional. Usually mechanical pencils have lead that breaks very easily, but not these pencils. It is great that each pack comes with extra lead and erasers.

When he opened up these pencils he was super excited to put them in with his school supplies. The grip is more comfortable and the lead writes easily on the paper. I love the erasers and that we get extra ones! This is a superior mechanical pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received two packs of Bic velocity mechanical pencils for free from Bic. I was sent them to try them and write an unbiased opinion. I write all day. I'm a scheduler for a major hospital. I adore my paper mate mechanical pencils. I was so excited when I got my Bic pencils in the mail. They are a little thicker with a rubbery finger area. A cap for the eraser and came with extra lead. Awesome fun colors. I love the thickness of the mechanical pencil. I like how hard I can write and not break the lead. I like how dark the .7 lead is as well. Cons. The eraser is worthless. I have been hoping maybe I had to break it in. No. I've been using this for almost a week, and it doesn't erase. Just rubs and smears. Bad. Terrible. Would I buy them? Yes I have a bunch of coupons for my kids for school! If I had the choice between my beloved yellow paper mate and the new Bic velocity. I'm sorry to say i will continue with paper mate. If it had a better eraser I would switch! Thank u for sending my the pencils to try Bic velocity!
