[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never used mechanical pencils before this bzz campaign. I was old fashioned and always used wood pencils. But my kids always want mechanical pencils. So every year I buy them the cheapest mechanical pencils I can find thinking they are a waste of money anyway. Well, I have been proven wrong. These Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are so much better than the cheap generic pencils! They write so nice! They have a nice soft squishy grip, generics do not have this, nor do wood pencils. The lead doesn't snap off if you press hard, sure it will break, maybe, but not like regular pencils or generic mechanical pencils. They write smoothly and darker without too much effort. The eraser works well too. I like that these have led and eraser refills too. That way they aren't a waste of money or too bad for the environment. I have nothing bad to say about these. My daughter in 8th grade loves them too. She was happy when I gave her some for the new school year. She uses them daily at school.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils aren't only for children! I work at a Heavy Duty Towing and Diesel Mechanic Shop. You wouldn't think there would be a huge use for writing utensils, but oh are you wrong my friends!!! I, as office manager, use pencils everyday in my job and boy am I picky about the pencils and pens that I use! I have been a huge fan of BIC Velocity ink pens for years and was so excited when I saw these new pencils. I am able to write darker, smoother, and more precisely with these pencils!! But they guys out in the shop love them as well! They are able to clip them to their pockets and not worry about them breaking like traditional wooden pencils. They also love that when they don't have to stop working to take the time to find a sharpener when they are out of lead. More lead with the click of a button. They love them so much that the entire pack I brought in to keep at my desk is gone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mechanical pencils are brightly colored, and the strong lead is perfect for me because I push down so hard when writing so there is fewer breakage. I love that the eraser had the plastic cover. I am always sticking the end in my mouth (probably shouldn't do that). But besides me, my daughter just loves these new pencils.

These pencils are at a reasonable price, they come with pencils, back up erasers, and extra pack of lead. I love you get the extra erasers, because you can't ever find, and buy them. But also these are found everywhere almost. I and my kid though was super happy receiving a FREE pack of these and coupons right before school started. Oh one more thing is these packs last for a pretty long time compared to other brands we have tried.
