Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's like writing with an ink pen, but you can erase your mistakes! Love the feel and look of the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. It's perfect for my teenagers to use in school, and me for my calendar and schedules.

Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smooth writing, strong smooth lead, clean erasing, all so awesome on this pencil! The only reason for the 4/5 rating is the retail price. Teenagers lose things like their minds every day and I can't spend that much money on pencils they will lose every day. They are worth the price, but not for kids.

Comfortable Grip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried these out myself and thought they were very comfortable to hold. I don't need to constantly readjust my grip. The lead is great. It's not too light and does not break easily. The eraser is nice and soft. I feel like the quality of the eraser says a lot of about the quality of the pencil. The eraser actually erases and doesn't just leave streaks. The pencils themselves are colorful and vibrant, which makes them easier to not lose. #GotItFree

Our sons think they are okay...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are pencils, they get the job done.... We have 2 middle school aged boys. According to the boys, the pencils are no better than any other mechanical pencils. We did appreciate the enclosed refill. The included gripper is larger on these vs the others, which makes writing a lot less uncomfortable. The boys also like that the pencils are clear, that way you can tell if you need a refill. I appreciate that they are clear and light weight as well. Also happen to like the variety of colors. My boys gave me all the girly" colors. Overall they are okay pencils."

Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils are worth a try. I really liked that the package of pencils comes with refills of erasers and lead. The colors are pretty, and I found it to be comfortable to hold and write with. The way the nib is designed I had less lead breakage, and I liked the cap on the end to keep the eraser from touching things and getting gummy. In order to get more lead out, you click the eraser rather than a bar on the side. I prefer this. My high school age son was less enthusiastic. He did like the eraser click function, but he did not find it to write as smoothly as he would like. He threw away the eraser cap because he thought is was annoying, and he did not find it comfortable to hold. If you are looking for a new style of pencils, I would suggest you give these a try and decide for yourself!
