BIC Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used other mechanicals and the lead always broke. and with the Bic I did not have that issue. My child used this also and said it was good and it looked like a pen. The ease of writing with this and erasing. I like the idea that is come with extra lead and erasers. You know most of the time erasers are the first to go and then when they are gone the pencil normally is thrown out. I have found a new mechanical that my children like and so do I. This will replace the any mechanical I have used in the past.

Ready for school!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pencils is a great addition to your back to school shopping list. I'm a college student and I have an elementary school son who always wants the most unique accessories one can find. Though he's unable to use mechanical pencils at school, he prefers them over ordinary pencils and uses them for homework. I use them for note taking and class assignments. Not only do they look really cool but worked great and are extremely comfortable to use. The pencils write very smoothly, the eraser adequately worked, which is a big thing for me since I'm a perfectionist when it comes to turnin in assignments. I prefer not to have smudge marks where I had tried to erase something, with these pencils that was not a problem in the slightest. Overall, both my son and I are very happy with the product and have given coupons to both friends and family while telling them about the product and how it's definitely a much higher quality then your average mechanical pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are great! I love to use mechanical pencils at home because they are just so handy! But these pencils are even better! They write so smoothly! No more stubborn lead getting stuck on the page and breaking! It also came with 2 packs so one for my kids! They love the colors of the pencils! They really stick out! These remind me of the pencils that everybody traded in school because they are so great! Will definitely use these and buy more if needed.

Great pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the first one to my oldest son who only uses mechanical pencils. He liked the look and feel of it and after writing a bit, he said he liked that too. It came in many different colors which is great when you have boys and girls. Upon using the eraser though, it didn't work so well. He had to push really hard and after going back and forth over and over again, it still didn't erase. Overall, the pencil is a huge hit but the eraser is a dud. I would still buy them though.

High Quality Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly think Bic outdoes themselves every year. These #2 mechanical pencils come in many colors that attracted my kids immediately. The design of the pencil is a perfect fit for little or bigger hands. The gummy cushion for finger comfort is a bonus. I love how strong the lead for these previous are. Usual mechanical pencils tend to break easily because they don't have the support of the wood that a regular pencil has. Bic Velocity lead is stronger and withstands the pressure of both my 6 and 10 year old children. This is very important to me since I don't want to go through 50 million pencils in a school year. This lead also erases cleanly with little effort. I also love how the 5 pack of these pencils include 12 refill leads and 5 extra eraser heads. You cannot go wrong with these high quality mechanical pencils for back to school or everyday life.

Great mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually avoid mechanical pencils for a few reasons. I tend to put a lot of pressure on writing tools, so the lead usually breaks on me resulting in a lot of lost product. It also is hard to refill the pencils trying to fit the lead into the tiny hole. With the Bic Velocity mechanical pencils, I have not had a problem. The lead seems to be very sturdy, and has not broken on us. That is a major bonus because I really didn't like wasting the product, even if it was just little pieces. The lead writes really smooth, and does not smear. It is even when writing, not too dark or too light. It is comfortable to hold, and doesn't feel cheap and flimsy like some pencils are. I also like you can refill with new lead and re-use the pencil part to help the environment and save trees. These are so durable that they should last for year. They will get a lot of use from my school aged child and other members of my family. I would definitely recommend these pencils.
