The lead seems a lot smoother than any other mechanical pencil I have used. My 16 year old son took a couple to school and he hasn't lost them yet which means he loves them! I am also a big fan of the colors!

Most of all they have refillable led and erasers that makes them last so much longer than the other brands of mechanical pencils. I highly recommend parents go out and buy these for their kids. I even recommend them for themselves. Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Bic Velocity pencils are great! I love the rubber grip on them which makes them very comfortable to use and my son loves the cool colors! It's an added bonus that each pack comes with additional lead and erasers in a cool two-in-one cylinder that you can easily take with you. The lead also writes super smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say that I was impressed with how great BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils worked. Normally when I think about Mechanical Pencils I think of lead that breaks easily but these pencils write great and if you make a mistake its easily fixable with the eraser on the top of the pencil. They come in a variety of colors which really catches the kids eyes.

The colors are great to look at , but it has good flow and is comfortable to write with. These mechanical pencils are great for everyone - it truly is. The pencil grip allows a comfortable writing experience. This product also has smooth writing finish. This product also comes in multiple colors and the price point is great too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are the best for grade school children to use. No more excuses for not having a pencil sharpener when the pencil point dulls. The Bic velocity mechanical pencils write very smoothly, the lead erases with ease and the pencil lead doesn't break easily when pressured is applied. I recieved my free Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils free from Bic to try and review. I will recommend to all my mom friends whose children will be going back to school in a couple weeks.
