[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 14 YO was really excited to get these #BICVelocity mechanical pencils to try. He likes mechanical pencils much more than regular wood pencils. He really likes the look of these & he likes the way they write. They write very smooth & they erase completely without the eraser crumbling. While he's not exactly excited to start school, with these great #2 pencils he'll be ready for anything! #GotItFree *Disclaimer: I received this product free from Bic & BzzAgent for my honest review. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So first of all i was curious i don't like mechanical pencil first of all because lead breaks of easily and i jave to keep buying some. I was really surprise how well the lead held up awsome strong smooth lead dark too. It erase good to the point where i couldn't see where i had erased. My kid's love the color's but the best part about is the sat down and wrote for no reason at all if my kid's like it then momma loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are great refillable lead pencils! The lead is VERY strong and quite hard to break. They have a great grip/ finger holder and come in a bunch of fun colors! Additionally, I love how long the lead lasts, perfect for my kids school work and art!

Colorful and durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC again has proven why they are the best pencil and pen maker. The new velocity mechanical pencils are not only colorful but very durable as well. The tone of the lead is much darker on paper then any other mechanical pencil we have used. It also erases very well. The lead comes off easily and more cleaner, leaving none on the paper. The lead is also stronger which has caused less breaks then usually occur with mechanical pencils. All of these reasons are why my family is going to make it an must have school supply this year.

No more sharpener!

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are great. They are smooth and don't require a sharpener. We aren't wasting school supplies anymore. That's important to me as a single mom. #BICVelocity #GOtItFree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bic pencils write very well. You can put pressure on them without the lead breaking. The lead is nice and dark and writes very smooth. My only complaint is they do not erase well at all. I am hoping once the eraser is used a bit, it will work better but right now it is like rubbing plastic over the pencil marks I want to erase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teen daughter tried one of these pencils out. She liked the purple and blue but hated the other colors. She would have rather have these in a green. Anyways, she took the blue and put it to the test. As with cheaper brands the lead breaking is an issue. No matter how little was out it broke on her and she used just enough pressure to write. Refill eraser was a good fit. She also like the softness of the finger cushion.

Best Mechanical Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My oldest daughter has been using these mechanical pencils every day since they came in the mail. She loves them and I have to say I agree with her. They feel very sturdy in your hand without being too heavy. Some of the mechanical pencils we've used have a very cheap feel to them. I much prefer a pencil that doesn't feel like it's going to snap in my hands. My daughter loves to write and does so every day. She always has a pencil in her hand. She said these have a nice feel to them and when we went school supply shopping these are the pencils she picked up for the school year.
