Also they have a soft and comfortable rubber grip that is awesome. And they even come with a refill of lead and erasers, so that's new for me. Just in time for back to school, my daughter is so excited to use them. And that gets me excited

This year at school my daughter is learning cursive writing and good penmanship and the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils have made it an enjoyable writing experience. The kids love them. They tell me that with the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils, the children want to write more and they are so much fun to write with! The eraser doesn't smudge and works very well. The lead doesn't break which takes away a lot of frustration for the kids. It's a soft, comfortable grip for their smaller hands. Because of the great quality and durability of the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils, the children are learning good handwriting skills, which equals success! Thank you Bic!

Initially...I was thinking these pencils were just like any other mechanical pencil, but I was proven wrong! The colors are bright and brilliant! My kids actually fought over which ones they were taking! I stole the pink one right off the bat! the feel and shape of the pencil reminds me of holding an ink pen, they also have a rubber grip so my fingers are not sore after using for awhile. The writing is so fine, it makes for very clear reading. When making a mistake...erasing is not dreaded with these pencils! It erases so cleanly with no messy residue. Also...I love the fact that these are the brand BIC"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I give the Bic Velocity pencils an A+!! This was the perfect time to test these babies out. My kids school supply list called for mechanical pencils, so the timing was perfect. My kids were super pleased and said that I was the coolest mom ever! I gave both of my kids extra pencils to hand out a few to their friends to see what they thought, and they loved it. I have to say that these pencils are very sturdy and reliable. I loved that it came with the extra erasers and led. Comparing mechanical pencils that I have here at home, the Bic Velocity does not compare. My kids always complained about how their other mechanical pencils would break easily and fall apart. Since introducing them to the Velocity pencils, the absolutely love it! I shared coupons with some of the other moms of my kids friends. I will definitely be buying these pencils in the future. These will make great stocking stuffers since the holidays are right around the corner. Thanks Bic for making an awesome product! ~M.R.
