These pencils were very comfortable the whole time! I could definitely see myself using these in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have put these pencils to the test. They've used them from drawing, homework and note-taking at school. They both love them. The pencils are very easy to use and they are just as comfortable to write with as their favorite pens. The lead advances easily and does not extend too far causing it to snap off like other mechanical pencils often do. They are stylish and fun, which is what really draws my kids to them. They come with plenty of extra lead/ erasers in an easy to carry little case. The lead refills have a top that doesn't pop off and disappear which is handy for keeping it in backpack. These are our go-to pencils from now on.

Favorite mechanical pencil

I can have a pretty pencil that I can hold comfortably for long periods of time and the lead is soft enough so it doesn't tear your paper, but strong enough that it doesn't break. I've been taking math notes for class for two days and this is the only pencil I plan on using. Writes and erases so well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a full-time writer and editor, I have been through too many pencils and pens to count over the years. It is not easy to find a writing implement that can do everything I would like. If I can find a decent mechanical pencil that has good lead, I am happy. If I can find another pencil with a decent eraser, I'm content. If I can find a pencil that is comfortable to hold, that is great. With the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil, I've found all of these qualities in ONE PENCIL! The comfortable grip on the pencil makes it easy to hold, the 0.7 lead is not too light and not too dark, the eraser on the pencil actually erases without leaving smudges and streaks on the paper. I am a happy writer and plan to use these pencils as long as I can!
