Not Your Ordinary Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are absolutely wonderful. Yes I did get these for FREE, but that doesn't alter my honest review on items. BIC Velocity was compared to my other mechanical pencils. BIC held up to my pressure of writing and the easy to grip end. My son told me he will never use any other mechanical pencils but Velocity. And he's a picky child! Well done BIC!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that Bic mechanical pencils are great! My students love to use them because they write well and come in lots of colors! Normally, I do not like for my students to use mechanical pencils in math class necause the lead breaks so easily. Bic mechanical pencils write dark enough to see answers and the lead does not seem to break as easily as other mechanical pencils. I would recommend these pencils to parents! #gotitforfree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not use pencils as much as my daughter does so I had to go to her for an expert opinion. Right away she looks over the pencil and admires the bright colors that they come in. She picks out the blue one and starts clicking away for first use. Grabs a empty page out of her sketch book and begins to sketch away. She immediately says that she likes that it did not break right away as soon as she started to use it, then quickly she erases a portion of the face she has started. A slight grimace, as it smudges and skids" on the paper. though she is not put off since she explains to me that most pencils do this since there seems to be a coating on most new erasers. But she is back to drawing and is pleased at the texture an smoothness of the lead. This is important to her for her drafting class as she can be deducted for this on assignments. For me I would agree that I like the way it writes and a quick rub of the eraser on empty page or even the leg of my jeans gets rid of the coating. I really like the colors

I opened the package reluctantly and started to use them. I was shocked that my pencil point did not break! I gave the others to people I work with and they were pleasantly surprised as well. I even ordered for the entire office instead of the regular pencils!

She gets a lot out of these pencils with the refills. The eraser is the best I've seen with mechanical pencils. She likes the different colors. She was so excited I couldn't even get a picture of them before she tore the package open. My favorite part is that she can use them for school and not have to use a different pencil for tests. #GotItFree #BicVelocity

Besides the bright colors, these pencils have refillable lead (expected) but refillable erasers?!?! Beyond awesome. They write like a dream and erase cleanly. My girls loved them immediately and I love anything that takes the sting out of starting another school year!
