BIC Velocity - Smooth and Bold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils are a great pencil. I found that they write smooth which is great when journaling. The lead is dark which makes it easy to read. Definitely my go to pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have been using these at school for the past two weeks and are loving them. I took one to work and have been getting a lot of use out of it myself. The lead holds up better than traditional mechanical pencils which is good because my kids can write hard, breaking traditional and other mechanical pencil lead frequently. The new pencils also don't smear as much either. For a left handed person like myself, that is of huge importance when choosing a writing implement. I usually end up with pen ink or pencil lead all down the side of my hand. The eraser is very functional, but small. With all of the writing and re-writing my kids do, a big eraser is a must. While it is nice that the eraser comes with a cap, my kids lost theirs the first time they removed it, so it wasn't of too much importance to them in the design. Overall, I would highly recommend these pencils for people of all ages looking for a good pencil!

They are smooth...and strong! Most mechanical pencils have led that is so thin, it breaks if you try to write with it. Not the Bic velocity pencils! My youngest like them so much- she asked if she could bring some coupons in to give to her friends and teachers.

My son, who is going to be a 4th grader, loved them. He raved about the different design of this pencil, like the eraser cover and how well they wrote. We will be stocking up on these for school!

She said its easy for her to grip and hold. I see while she is using them she is able to write neater than what she did before. I have since recommended , shared and purchased some for school. They are worth the price and having the coupons that came with them makes it even a better bargain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the pencils first arrived my older children were so excited to give them a try. The colors are bright and both girls loved each shade. The lead holds up well and doesn't break easily. The lead also erases cleanly from the paper. Both kids also bragged about how the pencils don't give them blisters like other mechanical pencils they have owned in the past. Hearing how comfortable it is to write with the BIC Mechanical pencils I am sold on this product and will use them from here on out.
