[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's back to school time and that means shopping for school supplies including pencils. One of the items we absolutely have to shop for is mechanical pencils. It is the only type of pencil my kids will use. The BIC Velocity mechanical pencils are a fantastic writing utensil that will be purchased over and over again. The pencils are very comfortable in your hand which is a very important factor in pencils especially since they write all day. On top of how comfortable it is, the eraser is much better then other mechanical pencils we have used and purchased. A bonus is the bright colors that they come in. My daughter color codes her stuff with classes so this makes keeping the colored pencil that matches her binder together and always has it ready. They fit nicely in a pencil case and they write with ease. BIC Velosity pencils are a definitely must have for back to school and throughout the year.

Long lasting! Clean Erase! Super Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These colorful pencils really motivated all of us to write and draw! My kids thought they were pens because of their colors and size. While the colors make it fun to use them, these pencils are a bit thicker in roundness which makes it easier for little fingers to grip. I found that the older kids were able to write and draw for longer periods of time because their fingers are not hurting. My kids love these pencils because they respond really well to pressure without breaking. They were especially wowed by how well the lead erased. They didnt have to press hard and use alot of eraser to get things gone and they noticed! The last thing that made my kids and i happy was the fact that this pack of Bic mechanical pencils comes with additional lead and erasers, not that you will need them often. The lease didn't break or go back inside everytime pressure was applied. We will be getting more of these for back to school supplies!

My daughter is super picky when it comes to her pencils and I usually end up buying something new every year for school only to go back and find something else. The thing I hate the most is that every other mechanical pencil is not easily refillable, and that includes the eraser. I have thrown out so many pencils that have lead, the eraser is gone. So when I found out that these are refillable and they have new erasers! SOLD!!! Now just to convince my daughter. She tried them and loved the feel in her hand and how they wrote. She was hooked! We have found our new pencils for school!

I have never seen a 10 year old so excited for pencils before! All she wants to do is take selfies with them to show her friends what to buy for school.
