[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are great. They are not quick to break like normal mechanical pencils are. I love that they are refillable so less waste. They also erase cleanly which is great for standardized tests. My soon to be 9th grader also loved them. He has been drawing with them since we got them. I couldn't be happier with the new design, comfort grip, darker lead, clean ease, and smooth writing. Kudos to BIC.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son (15) and daughter (18) prefer mechanical pencils to standard pencils, so when these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils came in the mail from BzzAgent to try for free, they were fighting over them! They have used them for a couple weeks now and they have been very happy with them. The lead erases nicely and the pencils write nicely. I had to try it out for myself! When they go through these, I will definitely purchase more of the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my kids and I are excited to use the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils. The colors are fun, which helps the kids love them. The lead is strong and smooth when writing, which makes me love them. I have actually found myself reaching for the BIC Mechanical pencils as opposed to pens I normally use. A great product that makes me want to write more is a winner in my book.

My daughters draw a lot, and they both like them for sketching. My older says you'd never guess it's a mechanical when it comes to shading.

They also say most lead pencils dont do well when it comes to art. They love the vibrant colors and the comfort. They appreciate that the eraser does a great job.

These are sturdy and have a strong lead. I like the fact that there is a refill included that keeps extra leaf and erasers together.
