He takes cheap the mechanical pencils he doesn't like, in case his friends ask to borrow a pencil. The colorful bodies, sturdier lead, protected erasers, and comfort grip make the Velocity a hit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils to try out. The grip in these mechanical pencils is amazing. My daughter requires a gripper with all #2 pencils but with Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils she doesn't need a gripper. She never has to leave her desk and interrupt class to sharpen her pencils. They come in great contrast colors so they are easy to find in a pencil box. The Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are affordable and I can purchase the lead refills easily and most stores carry them so they are a favorite on my school supply list.

These pencils are an excellent choice for nipping that bad habit away. Plus, they wrote smoothly and she uses them for art class to draw. These pencils came with extra lead which was nice.

When I first wrote with the pencil, they became my new favorite. They write so smoothly and nicely, and erase very neatly. No eraser smears, and the erasers have little lids on them. The barrels are very bright, fun colors and my kids loved them, my daughter especially. She loves to draw with them, and loves how easy they are to draw with.
