[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mechanical pencils are the best that I have used by far. They write smoothly and just feel good in your hands. The lead doesn't break off easily like most mechanical pencils. It is definitely better than a regular pencil as no sharpener is needed. This is a great back to school supply.

She only uses mechanical pencils and is very particular with which pencils she likes. I gave her a pack of the Velocity Pencils to take to school. Her first day home she was loving the soft flexible grip the pencil had. Her go to mechanical pencil does not have this and she has to use a pencil gripper which doesn't always stay on.

There light weight and have a great feel to them. The lead doesn't brake ease like others do.you can write for hours and not get a bilister on the side of your finger do to the soft grip.

The #BICVelocity mechanical pencils are gorgeous with colorful barrels and the rubber hand grip makes writing more comfortable on the fingers. No sharpening needed!!! This alone makes these pencils a favorite among the children and adults in our home. The lead is #2 which is essential and easily erases. This is a great product for the whole family.

They have helped me decide its actually worth it to put out a little more money on my mechanical pencils. They come in a great array of colors the kids like and have a nice grip built on them that makes them more comfortable to use. The lead is well made, goes on smooth and easy and does break as easily as other leads I have tried. These are really durable and will last my kids much longer than other mechanical pencils.
