[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do bookkeeping for a small company, and prefer to use Mechanical Pencils for work I do in the ledgers. However, the leads normally break, and gripping the thin barrel makes my hand hurt quick. Now, enter BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. On first look, I like the colors and that the pencils come with lead and eraser refills! Upon using, I love that the lead writes smooth and consistent, and is dark enough without having to press hard. The eraser works beautifully, making taking care of errors a breeze. My favorite thing about the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are the soft grip. It makes the pencil a little bigger and keeps my hand from cramping up with extended writing. Definitely my favorite mechanical pencil yet. I know what my desk is going to be filled with. Thanks BIC!

She also loves the flow of the pencil when she's writing or drawing. The fact that it comes with extra lead and erasers are a huge plus. What was she most impressed about, the eraser! It's stable and did not leave a trail when she erased a word or part of a drawing. Bottom line, these are her new favorite pencils!!!

My children love mechanical pencils. I would buy basic pencils and they would always manage to come home with a mechanical pencil. As soon as my daughter saw these pencils, she immediately told me she was taking them. (side eyes). She was really excited that they came with leads and erasers as well. They love the colors and the durability of the leads. The mechanical pencils make them feel like cool kids" LOL."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a certain criteria for new pens, pencils, and markers since I am such an addict. I have developed a certain taste for all things in the stationary world. I'll start from the top, literally: I found the eraser to work really well. It does a great job of removing the lead marks completely. And white erasers are my personal favorite. The barrel size is right on. Love that. Not too chunky. I love the clear barrel, that's new. The grippy thing is really nice. It's not sticky - some of those are sticky and get gross in a dest drawer or book bag. It's nice. The mechanics of the pencil are smooth working and no really crazy difficult lead loading. The lead is smooth - and dark. It's also not fragile. I hate when the lead breaks so easily. That is a plus here - tough lead that is smooth. I gave these pencils a 5 star rating because they meet all my criteria. I love the colors these pencils come in. My sons said the colors of them were a little more for girls than boys. I split up one pack of pencils and they both really liked the blue. I would like to see a color assortment for boys. Guys love mechanical pencils in guy colors.
