One of the problems I have is that I am heavy handed and I always seem to break my leads very easy. And I am pretty stubborn, I really hate old fashion pencils. With these ones I was able to write for a longer period of time before they would break, however they did not break very often. I was able to use the lead down to where I would have to give myself more lead. I highly recommend these pencils for school, office or just everyday use. I received to packs plus some coupons and I gave one of the packs to my grand daughter for school. Needless to say she is loving it because grandma never gives up her pencils or pens.

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils come in handy because it leaves out the need to sharpen the pencils every so often. Now, because of the plastic barrel, I was afraid that it will make my daughter's fingers hurt after long hours of writing and/or drawing. Good thing this mechanical pencil comes with soft rubber-like grip handle. This is of great help especially to those who loves to write. It keeps your fingers from developing callouses.
