As soon as they arrived, she took off with one of the packs. They bring many great features such as a comfort grip, 0.9m lead that writes nice and dark, an eraser that erases the dark lead; cleanly and don't forget, cool colors; pink my favorite and purple my daughters. Unlike your average mechanical pencils, thin/skinny, these are thicker like a pen which I think gives you better grip. #GotItFree #BICVelocity

They are vibrant and fun colors with a great grip and nice strong lead that will not break easily. I am a write who tends to put a lot of pressure as I write on paper and these pencils withstood all of the pressure that I use. Typically I cannot use mechanical pencils because they break but these withheld and passed the test. I will be purchasing these from now on! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has never been a big fan of writing...anything! Going back to school I placed the new BIC Velocity mechanical pencils in his bag. I knew he would like the bright colors and I was excited for the comfort grips. Success! 6 weeks into school he isn't complaining about his writing homework and he is even doodling. The durability of the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils is great. The lead writes clean and clear and is darker then most pencils. If a mistake is made the eraser takes away any mistake cleanly and without a trace. These are must have pencils for any student, parent or artist!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has always hated mechanical pencils so I was worried she wouldn't even want to give these a chance. She LOVED how colorful they were but her FAVORITE thing was that the pencil led didn't break off so easily. Not only that, but they came with extra lead just in case you ran out so you wouldn't have to just throw them out like other brands once the pencil is out of led. She found that the erasers did a wonderful job clearing out old writings and didn't smear or smudge like other pencils did in the past for her. I'm pretty sure we have a winner on our hands here now and my daughter has changed her mind on mechanical pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils, I wondered how much could you possibly review on a pencil? In this case, everything about the pencil is great. It looks like a ball point pen. The colors of the barrel are bold and vibrant. The lead of the pencil is strong and glides smoothly over the surface. The eraser cleanly erases any marks made. My kids love writing and drawing with these pencils and asked to have more to share with their friends.
