I love the satisfaction of a well sharpened pencil, but let's face it that doesn't happen often with wonky sharpeners. Enter BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. With a pop of color, never dull lead, and a pen like quality these pencils are fantastic. They write smooth, erase well, and you can't beat the long lasting lead. Give the Velocity a whirl and be amazed.

These pencils are easy to use and very comfortable to hold as well. They wrote smooth and don't break off too fast. Overall a great product and I recommend this product to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I popped two of these pencils in my 7th grader's backpack one evening, forgetting to let him know about them the next morning. To my surprise, it was the very first thing my middle school son commented on after getting home from school. He thought the pencil grips were wonderful and couldn't believe how easy it was to write with these new BIC Velocity pencils. (He is used to getting generic mechanical pencils.) He liked the capped eraser, as his erasers are always getting dirty in his bag and leaving smudges, that his teachers dislike, on his papers. He wanted to trade me the rest of his generic pencils for the BIC Velocities. He was not thrilled about the purple and pink ones, and wanted to know if there were packs of plain black ones. If there aren't please make some, BIC!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity pencils glide easily while writing, the lead is dark and doesn't break easily. They're easy to grip and fit comfortably in your hand. The only downside (which is a small downside) is that the lead sometimes squeaks while writing. All in all I would purchase this product again.

They were so excited when my package came in the mail and I let them be the ones to open it. I received huge hugs and thank yous from them. In return I thank BzzAgent for allowing me to be part of this campaign. It is funny how a mechanical pencil can entice your kids to write. The pencils are colorful, very smooth writing and feel comfortable in the hand. They erase very well and do not leave ugly, black smears across the paper. I am enjoying writing with them as much as my kids are. They are excited for school to start so they can show them off to their friends.

One of my children journals as a means to cope with her emotions, and we have went through numerous different options trying to find something for her. Cue the perfect time for Bic Velocity to come in. The bright and vibrant colors immediately cued her interest, so she picked one. Later that day she brought me her journal, imagine my surprise when she said she used ONE pencil lead the entire page she filled, and that she was so happy. Her writing was smooth, any erase marks were barely seen due to the ease of erasing, it didn't tear up the paper like some other pencils do. She is incredibly happy that she has her own pencils to use. She says Thanks!" The product description is pretty clear with the packaging
