When i used them before they alway break on me and smeared the paper. Just not worth my time .MY daughter insist on them cause they are cool . When I tried the bic velocity i was amazed how smooth you can write with it .Its like writing with a nice ball point pen .The lead didnt break not even when i pushed up a few times. I was surprised.I Showed my daughter and right away she was claiming her color and excited to have a mechanical pencils .When I told her write with it well she was like wow this is awesome. High quality for parent stylish for kids and great for math with the durable eraser that dont leave a mess . Bic velocity changed my mind about mechanical pencils thankyou bic for your high standards .No more other brands for us ..#bicvelocity #gotitfree

My younger daughter is obsessed with school supplies and was super excited when I got the kit in the mail. She allowed me one pencil and took the rest. I love the pencils. The weight of the pencil is just perfect. I like the cap to protect the eraser, and the colors are very vibrant. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to try them.

The cool colors mean that each child gets to choose their own favorite color and they don't take anyone's pencil. They erase much better than the cheaper pencils and don't tear the papers."

The BIC mechanical pencils are a perfect combination of all three of my preferences!! It looks nice and neat when I write, it is comfortable to hold and use for long periods of time and I can easily fix my mistakes.

I really like them because they are smooth and very easy to write with. The other mechanical pencils I've used, the lead breaks really easy. (I'm a hard writer apparently), but since I've been using the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils I have not broken a single one!!

First of all, the vibrant colors are a wonderful addition, and many children would love to write with these beautiful, stylish pencils. I was impressed with the refillable leads and erasers. The pencils contain a strong, dark lead--unlike many other brands of mechanical pencils. Many mechanical pencil brands CLAIM to contain a #2 lead; however, the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are indeed true #2 lead pencils! I also love the soft, rubber grips that are very comfortable. The erasers are also perfect and ideal for students during tests. Overall, I would highly recommend these pencils to children and adults alike because they are outstanding. They have many advantages over other mechanical pencil brands. Some of the advantages include their stylish, vibrant colors, their soft, rubber grips, and their strong,dark leads.
