great pencils

The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils come in great colors, have a comfort grip, and a cap to keep the eraser clean and safe. The best and most important part is how smoothly it writes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teenager absolutely loves the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils! What he loved the most was the addition of the extra lead/erasers included in his pack. He was constantly running out of erasers & lead in the mechanical pencils we purchased previously. The pencils are also an array of colors and fit well into his hands. You'll certainly get more bang for your buck with this product because they'll last longer than competing brands.

She says they feel good in her hand, but the lead breaks a little too easily. The colors are very bright. She gave a pack to her best friend to try and I will update as soon as I hear her thoughts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love mechanical pencils but the issue that I have with most of them is that the lead breaks so easily, this has been remedied by Bic with the new Velocity line of pencils. I love the fact that I can put a normal amount of pressure when writing and not worry about it breaking. It erases great and I love the included extra erasers and lead. Perfect for school and non school alike I have found my new pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves using mechanical pencils for her school work, but it drives her crazy how the lead constantly breaks everytime she writes. With the BIC VELOCITY pencils the lead definitely hold up! I like the fact the lead writes dark enough to where I can read her work, and the colors are a plus!

Fun colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pencils are fun colors that stand out from the old yellow pencils. The lead writes pretty lightly. This is good for erasing but I prefer a darker lead. I also feel they are pretty pricey.
