The lead in BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils is very strong and impressive. My kids love the variety of colors and the quality of the erasers. I love the comfort of BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils, the strength of the lead, how dark the lead appears vs. other BIC Mechanical Pencils, the quality of the erasers that don't leave obvious smudge marks, and that they will outlast other mechanical pencils we have tried and flown through. The BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils even hold up when I use them during wood-working projects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mechanical pencils were great! They have a nice comfort grip on them and write very smoothly. They come in fun colors that my kids loved! Not only did the package come with extra lead, it came with extra erasers! What's the first thing to always run out on a mechanical pencil, the eraser. My kids were super excited to use these when they back to school instead of the standard wooden #2 pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] School supplies are very important and one of my favorite things. I am a seventh grade math teacher with two boys of my own going into 8th grade. As a teacher, I am very picky about school supplies. They have to be reliable, comfortable, an extension of your hand. You should not ever have to get frustrated by a pencil. Bic Velocity is great! They don't break all the time, like some mechanical pencils. You are not going to run out of eraser before lead with the extra erasers provided. Extra lead is provided as well. And the point stays sharp and thin, which is important when you are working on math. A+ to Bic Velocity. I will be buying these pencils for my own kids and putting them on my school supply list for my students.
