[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved the look of the Bic velocity mechanical pencils. They are not nearly as thin as many of the competitors either. The pencils are fun colors and the lead is very strong and writes smooth and beautifully. I was worried the dark lead would be difficult to erase. That is not the case, it erases easily. Very pleased with this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smooth writing, strong smooth lead, clean erasing, all so awesome on this pencil! The only reason for the 4/5 rating is the retail price. Teenagers lose things like their minds every day and I can't spend that much money on pencils they will lose every day. They are worth the price, but not for kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has been using the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils almost exclusively for school because she loves having an always sharp pencil and a great eraser. She is in fourth grade so has learned how to use correct pencil pressure but has not had problems with the lead breaking very often at all. I have also enjoyed using them and often borrow them to do my own writing - grocery list, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BzzAgent sure did deliver with this campaign. I was sent 2 free packs of Velocity pencils, perfect to share for back to school! My oldest daughter will be starting 6th grade in a few weeks ad at this age not many things excite her, but she loved getting to open this Bzzkit up. She had to test them out before I could. They write very smooth and erase very well. Also the lead didn't break like other mechanical pencils that she has used in the past have. We are super pleased with Velocity by BIC!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pencils erase cleanly from the paper but leave a mess of erase bits all over the paper, as well as leaving the erase stuck with the pencil lead so as to create another problem (i.e. ineffective or smudgy erasing) the second or third time around. The cap on the eraser is a useless choking hazard; destined to get lost by older children or thrown out to keep young pencil biters from choking. Few instances of annoying lead squeaking, otherwise smooth efficient and fun writing.

She put them in her bag for the first day. And now that its been 2 weeks she's been in school. She loves them! Smooth writing, the lead doesn't break easily. They don't feel like the plastic pencil is going break in her hand. They erase everything nothing is left behind like with other pencils. And she seems to be using less lead as well which is great! She loves these so much I went out and bought more packs for the whole school year.
