As school teachers, and parents of a high schooler, we USE pencils. When the BIG Velocity mechanical pencils arrived, I began using them immediately and loved the bright colors. When school started, I gave some to my high schooler. The next morning, he was asking for his 'green' pencil. I asked him if he liked the BIC Velocity pencils better, or if he preferred the other brand. He said, NO

She was besides herself. Upon asking her how she felt about the BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils this is what our conversation was like... Me- So how'd you like the pencils? Her- Oh mom they're awrsome! Me- What do you like? Her- They're great. I break my lead and magically have more. My lines don't smear as much and they're not the same boring yellow color. Me-Magic huh? Her- and no more sharpening. I love these mom. I like how easy they're to use. They're so convenient. No worries about the lead needing to be sharpened when I'm in a rush. The erasers each have a lid. They're from a brand that's been around for so long. Really great for school

We will be watching a show and everybody has their pencils and writes words they hear on the tv! Great practice for our handwriting!

Great pencils with comfortable grip

They have lead that doesn't break easily, comfortable grips on the bottom and an eraser that makes correcting mistake easy. The eraser cleans writing completely and without having to continue to scrub and it doesn't puts holes in your paper from rubbing hard. The pack includes extra erasers and lead. The pencils are easy to reload with lead. I would recommend this pencils to any parents.

The lead in these pencils is also very durable and does not break easily, like many other pencils we have tried. I love that the pack comes with extra lead and extra erasers as well. It always seems our erasers disappear long before the pencil does. Great job, BIC!

For one, these pencils seem to write darker than other pencils, often I don't write with pencils because they're too light to read, but not these!
