If you are looking for a mechanical pencil that will last in a stylish than this is a pencil for you . They are so comfortable and right so easy I don't know what I would do without these now . I love that it comes with refills and also with the a razor refills these will last forever

BIC Velocity MEchanical Pencils Make Life Easy on a Student

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try out the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils that BZZ Agent sent me. Both my sons go through pencils like crazy....I hate traditional pencils - they need to be sharpened so frequently and make a mess. We most always use mechanical pencils, but I found that they don't write quite dark enough and the tips break and they wind up quickly being thrown away. I found that the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are quite an upgrade what we've been using ....the lead writing is smooth and dark which is needed for standardized testing! The padded grip is a nice touch as well. But what we like most is the retractable tip, like a pen has. This keeps the lead tip from breaking off and it keeps marks from getting all over everything. The boys and I have a new perfect pencil!

Last night, he started getting frustrated with his math homework. He was using the Velocity pencil and pushing hard. The lead stood up to his force. The mistakes erased easily and completely. He was very proud that it didn't look like a dog had eaten it by the end. His only complaint was that he wished he could get a pack without the girly" colors included. He is not a fan of the. Pale yellow and he calls the red pink. I am just happy we haven't gone through a whole pack in a week. Durable and clean erasing makes mom a happy camper"

I must admit I am weary of mechnical pencils are I haven't had the best experience using them (repeated broken lead, running out of lead, smeared erase marks). As soon as I opened the box, I was truly impressed. The colors of the pencils are so bright and fun and each pack comes with not only 5 pencils, but extra lead and erasers! I am used to having to purchase extra lead, so seeing erasers and lead in a neat little plastic container was awesome! Now to see if they work as well as they look! I grabbed whatever I could find (which happened to be an envelope) and started writing with the yellow pencil that I grabbed from the pack! Wow! It wrote so smoothe and erased very clean". I even like the little cap over the eraser. I had to grab a notebook and continue try them out so more because I ran out of room on my envelope. The Bic Velocity mechanical pencils are constructed extremely well too. They are made up of thick plastic and have a comfortable finger grip as well! I am pretty sure that it will take a while to go through a whole pack of these pencils as they are made very well. The lead writes so smoothe and I was waiting to break a piece off but honesty I haven't broken any lead since I used them! Again

The best pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these mechanical pencils are the best ones I have used yet!It works great and I also love the colors.My son loves writing with these pencils because he has a comfortable grip on the Vic velocity pencils and if he makes a mistake this lead is easy to erase without smudge marks left on his paper. We will continue to use Bic velocity mechanical pencils.
