My oldest daughter brought all the papers for me to sign and gave me one of her BIC mechanical pencils to do it. Because they are comfortable, light weight and easy to write with I too love these pencils and will surely be purchasing more! Thanks BIC for the opportunity to try these for free!

The colors were so bright as well as the fun shape of the pencils. The pencils have a rubber grip for comfort and support. When we actually started writing the letters were darker and it did not break every time you pressed it to the paper. When erasing it wiped clean instead of smudging and smearing. BIC velocity is well worth it. My kids and I are excited about our mechanical pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Bic mechanical pencils are amazing. We were so excited to try the Bic Velocity pencils when they arrived. Just looking at the bold, colorful pencils through the see-through packaging, you could tell these pencils were above average. We (me and my sons) immediately opened one of the packages and started doodling and writing. The pencil feels incredible in your fingers. It feels more like you're holding a fancy pen than a pencil. And the weight of the pencil is heavier than a typical pencil which is nice. Love these pencils! Will definitely be a part of our back-to-school.

Every bit as good as a wood pencil

The lead is much stronger than other mechanical pencils that I have purchased and the barrel feels very sturdy and not flimsy like most. The writing is smooth and legible not clumpy and so light you can't read it. These come in many colors so all the kids have options. Also, they are refillable which is a major bonus because the refills come with them! I would recommend these a thousand times over other brands because they are that good.

My niece and nephew feel the same way. That's all the use for school. O love that these pencils come with extra erasers. I've seen lead sold separately but is very rare to see extra erasers.
