[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that the bic velocity pencil are a fun and exciting. They are easy to use and most of all so colorful. Kids want to use them to do their homework, get it they are so fun that they actually want to do their hw on their own. The cap is great to keep the eraser from getting dirty. They have a number to lead which means that you can use them on test. They have a refillable lead and refillable eraser so they can last a very long time. The colors range so that both boys and girls can use them. The paper stays clean and doesn't smuge.

The lead quality is superior because it doesn't break as soon as you begin to write. It's comfortable to hold and glides across my paper ever so gently. The barrel colors are cool and vibrant. The eraser works well. Doesnt smudge. I will be purchasing some more of these very soon.

The extra erasers and lead have given them ample supply to last a long while. The bright colors make it easy for them to know which pencil is theirs. Their papers have smooth, dark, and easy-to-read lines. I haven't seen any tear marks from poor erasers either! They love them and so do I!

She did not want anything but mechanical pencils this year. This campaign came at a great time. She had no problem trying these pencils out. She took them school and uses them everyday. She loves how smooth they write and the cool colors. I like that they never have to be sharpened and I can easily refill the lead.

These Velocity Mechanical pencils from BIC are not disappointing. On the contrary, they are high quality from the lead that can withstand young kids boundless energy and old age frail fingers to yield a reliable writing instrument that can write, draw and sketch. I use then mostly for drawing/sketching and my kids use then for school. They're very comfortable to hold! It's nice that the come in so many different colors. I definitely like the penlike tip. They come with extra lead AND erasers, which is absolutely amazing to me!! I've not found any mechanical pencils that have refills for the erasers! These are our go to pencils now!!
