[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never liked mechanical pencils but this one has changed my view. Most mechanical pencils I have used have lead that you must use excessive force to see which results in broken lead. The BIC Velocity pencils write without much pressure which means less broken lead. Definately a plus in my book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying these bic velocity pencils. I love the array of colors! I've had issues with using erasers on mechanical pencils in the past. Either they break apart, fall off when used, or don't really erase much at all. Not the case with these! The fluidity of writing with the pencil is fabulous. Overall, these are great pencils!

I love to draw and write, now I mainly use them for lists and with some of my designing for my knitting. I shared my BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils with my children.(ages 10 and 7) My 10 year old daughter is into drawing everything and making comics with her friends. She loves the ability to sharpen think lines without making them to thick, and having strong pencil leads. I'm rather fond of the replacement set of erasers and pencil lead packaging. That is a new and innovative option that I've never seen before but absolutely love. I would definitely purchase these if I saw them in store just to keep a stash around.

Bright, fun colors!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the bright fun colors of this product. The lead really writes smooth and doesn't break easily, a common thing with other mechanical pencils. My only negative on these is that the cap covering the eraser will get lost easily. I removed all of them and three them away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't usually use mechanical pencils because they aren't as smoothe or dark as regular pencils, these are definitely the exception. They are very smoothe when writing and the eraser actually erases and did not smear! I'm definitely going to switch to Velocity pencils!

I love that they come with refillable lead and erasers. How cool is that! My kids love the colors and the always ready and sharp writing lead. She is in 10th grade so apparently the apoearance of pencils is important-and these last the test with flying colors! She was super impressed that they came with extra erasers as most mechanical pencils do not. They also came with extra lead, so they will definitely last for more than a week-which is the best part for me! They can't wait to use them and show them off at school!! Great job!
