They are so nice and actually look like pens so he couldn't tell the difference at first. After using the pencils for last 3 weeks at school he has informed me he will never go back to another brand. Good thing I saved a coupon for myself too!

With these great pencils not only can you get your assignment done but, you can look cool and stylish while your doing it. I used this myself and love the easy grip and the bright and fun colors. Very easy to write with and to change the lead. Unlike other mechanical pencils that break if you apply a little pressure these dont and they hold up well and very easy to hold while you write. Easy to push the lead out as well. Another great and awesome product Bic .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic really did it with these mechanical pencils. My niece uses these to do her school work, now that they're back to school. She prefers these over the regular old pencils, and honestly, so do i! I use them at work.. They write so much neater, and cleaner.. and they're better to handle. AND, a funny fact, is that kids aren't compelled to chew on them, like they do with the other pencils. The erasers don't smudge and they clean up perfectly. No pieces falling off, or making a mess.

My 6 year old son loves using a mechanical pencil because he is fascinated with how they work. When we travel running errands or going on a trip, we take a mechanical pencil for him so we do not have to carry a sharpener along. The BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils are great for that purpose. If they can withstand a 6 year old's abuse, they can stand up to almost anything you want to use them for.

The grip on it makes writing so much easier and better than the mechanical pencils with no grip. I love the variety of colors they come in. I also like that the bigger packages come with extra lead and eraser tops. Speaking of erasers, these erasers erase much smoother. I would definitely recommend these. My daughter took a couple to school and she loved them. She uses them at home too. She was amazed at how good they erase if she made a mistake.
